Transformers Bumblebee Movie Prequel #3 Cover A, B, and Retailer Incentive Cover

Via Previews World we have a look at the cover variants of the upcoming Transformers Bumblebee Movie Prequel #3. 

Cover A and Retailer Incentive Cover come courtesy of artist Andrew Griffith. Once again, keeping that cool retro spy-movie art. Even the title “Energon Is Forever” is a reference to the classic James Bond movie: “Diamonds are forever”.

Cover B by Ficco Ossio features Bumblebee ready to fight a mysterious robot, with his spy partners below.

This comic is expected for release on Aug 29, 2018 with only one more issue to be released, preparing our way into the upcoming Bumblebee movie this December. You can click on the bar to see the mirrored images and then share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Even More Stock Images Of Transformers: Bumblebee Movie Energon Ignitors And Role Play Toys

In addition to the Transformers: Bumblebee Movie Energon Ignitor toys we saw on Friday, UK distributor NDA Toys and Amazon are sharing a whole lot of new images from the series as well as other toys from the movie such as the Stinger Blaster and role play masks.

The listing gives us our very first look at the Energon Ignitors Speed Series Bumblebee in his Chevrolet Camaro form; which was previously mentioned prior to SDCC, but never seen.

The new toys are as follows:

Stock images of the Stinger Blaster is also available along with this new batch of images. The weapon also acts as an accessory for the Bee Vision Augmented Reality toy.

We are also given our first new look at the Role Play Masks (again, heard but not seen) which are just re-releases of the masks from The Last Knight line with a new packaging for the Bumblebee movie.

Transformers: Cyberverse Animated Series Air Dates For Netherlands

Radio Television Luxembourg 7 (RTL7) in Netherlands has posted air dates for the upcoming Boulder Media animated series Transformers: Cyberverse.

The series will begin airing in September and these are the earliest known air dates since the closed premiere of the show; at the currently ongoing Kids At The Beach carnival in France.

This new announcement perfectly lines up with the information TFW2005 received back in May.

The air dates (for the first 9 episodes) are as follows:

  • Sunday, September 2nd, 2018.
  • Saturday, September 8th, 2018.
  • Sunday, September 9th, 2018.
  • Saturday, September 15th, 2018.
  • Sunday, September 16th, 2018.
  • Saturday, September 22nd, 2018.
  • Sunday, September 23rd, 2018.
  • Saturday, September 29th, 2018.
  • Sunday, September 30th, 2018.

The series will air at 7:13am on Saturdays and Sundays. Each episode is 11 minutes long and the first season will consist of 18 such episodes.

The series will air in the United States on Cartoon Network (air date unspecified).

Previews World Website has uploaded the full 5-page preview of Transformers: Unicron #03 which is out next August, 8th.

Unicron has started his attack, and no single Transformers would be safe. All ships and every Transformers available take off to join the last stand of Cybertron. Hard decisions to take, and we have our first hint of the origin of Unicron to the IDW continuity. Special appearance of Rom, the Space Knight.

Transformers: Cyberverse Toys Released In Philippines

And the Transformers: Cyberverse toys continue spreading around the world and fans from Philippines finally found all the Wave 1 classes (except 1-Step changers) at retail.

2005 Boards members vproject and Kotori Sonoda found the new Cyberverse figures at Toys”R”Us in Landmark, Makati and Toys”R”Us in Robinsons, Manila. Prices are as follows:

  • Scout: Bumblebee, Grimlock, Megatron, Starscream 549.75 Philippine Pesos ($10.36)
  • Warrior Class: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream, Shockwave – 799.75 Philippine Pesos ($15.00)

Possible New Image Of Shatter And Dropkick Alt Modes From Bumblebee: The Movie

Via lászlo vén YouTube channel, we have Possible New Image Of Shatter And Dropkick Alt Modes From Bumblebee: The Movie.

The video shows a picture that claims to be taken from the Bumblebee: The Movie set in Brighton Falls City. Here we can see Shatter in her red Plymouth Satellite Muscle car and Dropkick in his blue AMC Javelin Muscle Car alt mode. 

The robot modes of these new Decepticons were revealed previously, and they will be the main enemies of Bumblebee in his upcoming movie in December.

Transformers Legends Online Manga 52 – featuring the Autobot Targetmasters!

Takara-Tomy have posted up a new  chapter of their ongoing Transformers Legends web manga. In this chapter Black Zarak’s Headmaster summons forth the monstrous Majin Zarak – villain of the Beast Wars Second movie Lioconvoy’s Crisis – who wreaks havoc in the modern era. Facing him are a host of characters including a Brave Maximus who looks a lot like a certain Titan Class toy.

What might get fans excited though is one of the final panels where Autobot Targetmasters Pointblank, Sureshot and Crosshairs turn up to help, each sporting a body that is reused from an existing Titans Return toy. Pointblank is a recolored Hot Rod, Crosshairs a reuse of Kup, and Sureshot looks to be Full-Tilt from Trypticon.

This in all likelyhood is just the artist having some fun, but as a previous exclusive demonstrated, that being Million Publishing Artfire, sometimes there is truth in what we see in the panels of an illustration. As a counter, other manga-only creations like a Bludgeon from Hardhead have not materialised. Time will tell what comes of it all.

Bumblebee: The Movie – New Screencap From The Film

Courtesy of Empire Online, we have a new screencap from the upcoming Bumblebee: The Movie for your viewing pleasure.

We have our favorite yellow bot sitting on a sofa (well, the best he can sit on sofa not for his size), and looking as if he were watching something or waiting for someone. A nice and cute image of Bumblebee, which sure differs a lot from what we used to see in the previous live-action movies. Here’s a brief comment from Lorenzo Di Bonaventura from the article:

“For this new take, Bumblebee is in his classic VW Beetle disguise and attempting to adjust to a more domestic setting. “A giant chunk of our movie is about his relationship with Charlie [Steinfeld], and as it goes on he makes a total mess of her house,” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura told Empire. “He’s intrigued by her dog. And it’s funny to watch her turn him onto ‘80s culture.”

Bumblebee: The Movie Bee Vision Helmet & Battle Blaster Spotted In Netherlands

And following the new poster and screencap from Bumblebee: The Movie, now we can report that Bee Vision Helmet & Battle Blaster have been spotted In Netherlands.

The Bee Vision Helmet is a mask to mount a smartphone for an AR experience, and the Battle Blaster is the classic Role Play item that can launch discs and extend a sword. Both toys were spotted at Intertoys in Almere by 2005 Boards Niv3k in our Netherlands Transformers Sightings forum. The helmet was priced €59.99 ($69.32) and the Battle Blaster was €28.99 ($33.50).

To top it all, the new Transformers: Cyberverse Wave 1 Warrior class were also found in the same store for €19.99 ($23.10).

Happy hunting! We hope this means we are closer to see some of the new Bumblebee movie toys soon.

Transformers Studio Series Wave 3 Deluxe In Package Photos

Thanks to Weibo user 淘宝店变形金刚改造工厂 we have new in-package images of the upcoming Transformers Studio Series Wave 3 Deluxe to share with you.

The images show Studio Series: SS-16 Ratchet (repaint of the SS-04 Ratchet in Dark Of The Moon deco), SS-17 Shadow Raider (repaint of SS-11 Lockdown, with new helmet and gun) and SS-18 Bumblebee from Bumblebee: The Movie, a new mold that can transform into the classic Volkswagen Beetle.

To top it all, we also have a nice out-of-the-box promotional image of SS-18 Bumblebee. It gives us the exact size of this toy: 6 inches or 15.2 cm tall in robot mode. Finally, 2 small gray pictures (maybe part of the instructions) that shows SS-22 Dropkick (from Bumblebee: The Movie) and SS-23 KSI Sentry (repaint of SS-02 Stinger with new head and weapon).

Power of the Primes PP-43 Throne of the Primes Japanese Release Official Images

Amazon Japan has updated their listing for the Power of the Primes Throne of the Primes set’s Japanese release. This set was available at San Diego Comic Con last month and is getting a mass retail release to round out the Japanese Power of the Primes line in January 2019. This means if you’ve missed out on his Hasbro release you needn’t worry, as Takara-Tomy will give you another shot at owning this cool exclusive who also includes the remaining four Prime Masters left out of the single packed releases: Prima, Amalgamous Prime, Nexus Prime, and the Halo of Primus.

Encore Big Convoy Official Images

Amazon Japan has updated their listing for the upcoming Encore series Big Convoy reissue with official images. This go round, Big Convoy is getting redecoed into an animation style deco, complete with increased amounts of yellow on the design (most evident on the shoulders) and white in the place of the original figure’s silvers. He’s also got cute cartoon animal eyes on his mammoth mode.

Masterpiece Wheeljack Animation Version Official Images

Amazon Japan has updated their listing for Masterpiece Wheeljack Animation Version. This rerelease of Masterpiece Wheeljack carries on the trend of giving earlier Masterpiece releases a second run in more animation inspired decos – in Wheeljack’s case, that means dropping the sponsorship details, vastly simplified racing stripes that leave his vehicle mode mostly white, blue windows, and a more matte grey on his head and wings (in fact, his colors are more matte overall).
