Here’s a news which flew under our radar thanks to all the TV Spots and other Transformers: The Last Knight news which came over the last week.
It seems as though Christopher Swindle is working on the secret Michael Bay Transformers VR Project for movie theaters. Based on the questions he answered via Twitter, we learned this much:
- Voice actor work .
- Christopher Swindle will voice an Autobot.
- The finished product comes out this year.
- Not relating to Transformers: The Last Knight.
- Works closely with LucasFilm and ILM.
An additional tweet which came later on confirmed that the project is in fact Michael Bay’s Transformers VR Experience for IMAX theaters.
Mr. Swindle is best known by the Transformers fans for his voice work as Ragebyte for Transformers: Robots In Disguise (2015) and the voices of Wheeljack and Frenzy of Transformers: Devastation video game.
Strangely, Christopher Swindle has changed his Twitter banner to Autobot Hound from the Michael Bay Transformers Live Action Movie series. Could he actually be taking over John Goodman’s duties?
