Care of @Chromless on Twitter, we are able to share with you some in-hand images of this year’s Tokyo Toy Show exclusive Transformer, Black Convoy aka Robots in Disguise Scourge! The deco that launched a dozen black Optimus Prime repaints gets another outing at TTS2017, this time as a redeco of the Voyager class Optimus Prime mold from Titans Return. Scourge’s black and teal deco never fail to impress at making a toy shine, and this is no exception.
That’s not all, though, because the comic (scan courtesy of @singgg4 on Twitter) shows off a base mode for Black Convoy – one that the toy (and other versions of this mold) can easily pull off. Moreover, it is such a good representation of the base that the original toy’s trailer made that we’re going to go ahead and say the clever designers hid it in there as a bonus for fans.
