Although Nuremburg and New York Toy Fair have come and gone, there’s still another Toy Fair going on down under. TFW Boards member griffin-of-oz, has shared with us a good number of images and info from the Transformers exhibit at Toy Fair Australia 2016!
Take the jump to check out all the awesome stuff the Ozformers site owner covered from the event!
Hasbro’s setup consisted of three separate sections: Combiner Wars, Titans Return, and Robots In Disguise 2015.
The Combiner Wars figures on display consisted of Wave 6 Deluxes Trailbreaker, Smokescreen, Wheeljack, and Hound; various Legends-class figures including Legends Wreck-Gar; Voyagers Onslaught and Sky Lynx; Leaders Starscream and Skywarp; and recently released/upcoming combiner boxsets such as G2 Superion, G2 Bruticus, and Victorion.
In the Titans Return display, we get a look at various Legends-class and Titanmaster figures such as Legends Rewind, Stripes, Ravage, and Wheelie, and Titanmasters Terribull and Nightbeat. Representing Leader class is the first pair, Powermaster Optimus Prime and Blaster, with Optimus in his packaging and out in vehicle mode. Voyagers Galvatron and Sentinel Prime were also on display alongside Deluxes Blurr, Hardhead, Skullcruncher, and Scourge; the latter of whom’s package art is shown off. Finally on the display pedestal in the center of the exhibit is Voyager Astrotrain who is shown off in all three modes alongside Titan class Fortress Maximus, who is displayed in robot mode and base mode and is connected to Leader class Blaster’s base mode.
Next up is the Robots in Disguise 2015 display, which starts off at the top with various electronic devices such as headphones, radios, walkie-talkies, watches, etc. and works its way down with Legends class figures, One and Three-step changers, Warrior classes such as Blizzard Strike Drift and Optimus, and Warrior class Thunderhoof. Also displayed are the various Mini-cons and their deployers, as well as some wicked-looking RC cars and an RC Grimlock! The piece de resistance of the set, Powersurge Optimus Prime, is also on full display both in his packaging and out.
Last but not least, we have the Rescue Bots display. With a lot of playsets being shown off, we get a look at Megabots Hightide and Optimus, a 4-pack of the main team of bots from the show, the large firehouse playset, and the various trailer sets for Optimus, Heatwave, and Chase. Parents or fans of the show who are also G1 fans will be happy to know that the Optimus trailer set will also come with a blue and white redeco of Mirage as a nod to his 80’s incarnation.
